Just a couple of updates for you as our season is now in full swing:

1) Check out our latest edition of the Guidelines for the latest in local diver news and events: June-July 2010
2) We have added full details and online payment for three upcoming Tuesday night charters in Lake Huron (the first of which is in a couple of days!). Check them out on our Trip List Page.

I hope everyone is having a great start to the summer; be sure to come on out and dive! If you're looking for a buddy to dive "whenever," remember that, as a SWODA member, you always have the SWODA buddylist available to you (Details here).

It is a beautiful weekend in Southwestern Ontario, perfect for our annual Season Opener! Come on out and join fellow SWODites this Sunday, May 16th at the Sherkston Quarry to get those winter cobwebs off.

We are planning to dive around 11:00am and will follow this by complimentary burgers and hot dogs. If possible, please bring a salad or dessert to share. We're looking forward to a great day and hope to see you there!

The dive season is upon us! SWODA has recently updated its Trip List and Calendar (<--click the links) to include the latest changes and additions. Have a look and see which trips you would like to jump in on this year. We hope to see you out!

A special note for those who have already signed up for the Fort Erie trip: the weekend of this trip has been changed to July 10-11.

It has been long overdue... SWODA now has a Facebook group! Join us by clicking here and keep in touch with fellow SWODA members, past and present--sharing your pictures, videos, and memories. Non members interested in the club are also more than welcome to join! An included feature of the group is an RSS feed of our website updates. Each time story is posted on our site's blog, a copy will be added to the Facebook group so you can stay up-to-date with club activities. Just another way we're keeping divers in touch!

Wednesday, February 10 at the London Downtown YMCA 382 Waterloo Street.

IMPORTANT DETAILS—Please read carefully.

The door from the parking lot into the pool is only open for a brief window at 7:30. If you miss it you will have to lug your gear through the whole “Y”.

Free parking is available. Enter from Waterloo St and try and make your way to the lower level near to the exit ramp. The pool door is here and it will be open briefly at 7:30 and then again when we leave at 10. Pool time will be 8 until 10. Cost is $5 per participant.
