The South Western Ontario Diver's Association (SWODA) is a dive club based out of London, Ontario and has been connecting divers and getting them in the water for over 20 years. Our membership includes divers of all sorts from the very experienced tech diver to the recently-certified diver. We pride ourselves on this diversity and offer dive trips that fit all levels of diving. Diving is what you want to do, and that is our main objective!

SWODA Heading to Blackbeard's (Bahamas)

19 of our club members are very excited divers at the moment. Why? Because in a few days we are heading to the Bahamas for a week-long diving cruise with Blackbeards! This is just one of our many fabulous dive trips. For more information on upcoming trips and events, please visit our Calendar. To become a SWODA member, visit our Membership page.

Don't forget to attend our November 10th meeting at the Elephant & Castle in Galleria Mall, London where returnees from the trip will be showing off their pictures and sharing their stories.

October Meeting

Join SWODA for their October meeting at the Elephant and Castle in Galleria Mall, London at 8:00pm on Monday, October 20. This meeting will re-cap our summer events and discuss those that are coming up.

SWODA Pool Nights are Back!

Yes they are back! SWODA will be teaming up with Dive With Mar to rent out the pool at the downtown YMCA in London. This is a great opportunity to keep the cobwebs off your gear, test new toys, and maintain your underwater skills.

The dates for this month are January 23rd and 30th from 8pm-9:30pm (doors open at 7:30). Cost is $7 each or $15/family. This is a great price considering the cost of the pool, so take advantage!

New Years Dive Photos Added to Gallery

On Sunday, January 6th, we had our annual New Year’s Dive in Sarnia. Freakish weather gave us a temperature of 11 degrees Celsius combined with wind and a bit of rain. Does that stop SWODites from enjoying some time under the water? I don’t think so! Even though some people were intimidated by the weather and couldn’t make it out, we did have divers in the water—and that’s what counts! A big shout goes out to a new SWODite, Mike, who hopped right in the water as if he were in Florida.
